Kinterra is currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position, based on 30 hours per week. You will be working out of our corporate headquarters, which is located at 22 Adelaide Street West, Suite 3930 in Toronto.

Position

In your role as Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for supporting Kinterra’s ongoing accounting operations. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Recording day-to-day accounting journal entries into the company’s accounting system, and completing the posting process.
- Overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including processing invoices and payments, posting transactions, reconciling accounts, conducting account analyses, and preparing monthly reports.
- Maintaining the company’s financial books and records, and preparing financial statements and reports, including financial summaries for the CFO.
- Assisting with the preparation of corporate tax returns.
- Completing monthly reporting packages for key projects, and monitoring for any variances from project budgets.
- Processing payroll and associated accounting, and preparing and filing GST remittances.
- Performing other tasks and duties related to the above that Kinterra may, at its reasonable discretion, assign from time to time.

**Requirements**:
We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who can meet all of the following requirements:

- Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of bookkeeping or directly related accounting experience.
- Proven proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Able to communicate (written and oral) in English.

Compensation

We offer a generous compensation package, which includes:

- Salary: $45,000 per annum, based on 30 hours of work per week.
- Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year.
- Eligible for incremental raises in accordance with standard company policies
