**About Us**:
We are a growing bookkeeping firm specializing in providing accurate and reliable financial services to small and medium-sized businesses. We are currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeping Assistant to assist with a one-time project to catch up a client’s bookkeeping in Xero.

**Position Overview**:
We need an experienced Bookkeeping Assistant who is proficient in Xero to help us complete a backlog of bookkeeping tasks for a client. This project involves reviewing transactions, categorizing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), reconciling bank statements, and cleaning up the balance sheet.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and categorize transactions in Xero
- Process and categorize accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements
- Clean up and correct the balance sheet
- Communicate effectively with the project manager to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience with Xero accounting software
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Reliable and detail-oriented

Pay: $16.55-$34.24 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
