**The opportunity**:
**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- A Master’s degree in a health-related study area or equivalent experience.
- Two years of directly related experience
- Experience using project management software and tools preferred
- Experience with managing grant proposal submissions and research projects:

- Data access requests (e.g., HREB, HIPC, Shared Health, CancerCare)
- monitoring project/grant submission progress and timelines
- organizing and facilitating meetings
- managing communication flow
- preparing and submitting grant proposals to funding organizations
- conducting health and social sciences literature reviews and syntheses
- drafting scientific abstracts for conferences and manuscripts for publication
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in all aspects of project management and knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with at least one of the Tri-Council funding agencies' (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) grant proposal submission portals (e.g., ResearchNet)
- Demonstrated ability to write reports, abstracts and/or scientific papers
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills, techniques and software, and assist in carrying out specific phases of projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a working-from-home setting
- Must be detail-oriented
- Good time management skills and ability to work to a deadline
- Proficiency in computing software systems,.
- Reference management software (Mendeley)
- Video conferencing software (Zoom)
- Good working knowledge of basic statistics, such as frequencies, cross-tabulations and t-tests, and ability to format into graphs and tables
- Satisfactory work record, including attendance and punctuality
