**About the Game**:We're developing a horror 4-player co-op game that combines the relentless intensity of _Left 4 Dead_ with the gritty atmosphere of _Call of Duty: World at War Zombies_. Our vision is to build a thriving community of horror gaming enthusiasts who are as passionate about immersive gameplay as they are about engaging online experiences.

**Position Overview**:We’re seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to expand and nurture our online presence. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing social media campaigns, creating compelling content, engaging with our community, and using data-driven insights to optimize our digital strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has a genuine passion for gaming.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Social Media Strategy & Content Creation**:

- Develop and implement creative social media strategies that reflect our brand and engage our target audience.
- Produce, curate, and schedule a variety of content (images, videos, posts, stories, and live updates) across platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, Discord, and TikTok.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent, on-brand presence and timely campaign rollouts.
- **Community Engagement & Management**:

- Actively engage with our community by responding to comments, messages, and posts, and by initiating conversations that boost interaction.
- Monitor trends and discussions within the gaming and horror sectors to identify opportunities for real-time engagement.
- Organize and host online events, contests, and live Q&A sessions to foster a vibrant and loyal community.
- **Analytics & Performance Optimization**:

- Track, measure, and analyze social media metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
- Prepare regular performance reports to assess the impact of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Experiment with new tactics and iterate on content strategies based on data-driven insights.
- **Influencer & Partnership Outreach**:

- Identify and engage with influencers, streamers, and content creators who align with our brand values.
- Coordinate co-promotional activities and collaborative campaigns to extend our reach and credibility.
- **Event Representation & Public Relations**:

- Represent the game at trade shows, conventions, and public events by demoing the game and engaging with the audience.
- Conduct interviews and serve as the visible face of the game, effectively communicating our brand story and vision.
- Build and maintain relationships with media and industry professionals to enhance the game's public profile.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the development and marketing teams to ensure that social media content is in sync with game updates, releases, and promotional events.
- Contribute innovative ideas during team brainstorming sessions to help shape our overall marketing strategy.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience managing social media platforms, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and visual storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to create content that drives engagement and community growth.
- Passion for gaming, especially in the horror and co-op genres.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Location & Work Arrangement**:

- **Remote Position**: This is a full-time, remote role.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- **Salary Range**: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
