**Job Purpose**:
The Social Media Content Specialist assists in creating and curating social content for Grey Street Media clients, including the HGA Group. Responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring multiple social media strategies in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts, and increase sales. The specialist helps to grow the client’s business through creative content creation. In this role, the Strategist insures that we provide:

- Sound and responsible social media / content strategy and planning.
- Proper and innovative execution of work in all areas on schedule.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and manage our client’s social media content
- Creates and executes marketing campaigns on social media for internal and external clients. May include site visits, meetings, etc.
- Demonstrates strategic insight to develop long tern execution of plans from client’s stated business objectives and implement those plans
- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
- Collaborate with Marketing team on current client initiatives and upcoming events.
- Assist the Marketing team in organizing and executing internal events including but not limited to: Christmas Party, Tax Party, Internal Celebrations, etc.

**Qualifications**:
**_ Education & Experience:_**:

- Undergraduate degree in a related field (I.e. Communications, Journalism, Marketing, etc.)
- Experience with Social Media Scheduling software such as Hootsuite, Planoly, etc.
- Experience in copy-editing and professional writing.

**_ Skills & Knowledge:_**:

- Current knowledge and experience with the changing social channels (For business use).
- Social strategy development (social platforms, social reporting, social personality)
- Content creation for social media purposes (I.e. graphic design, content curation)
- Project Management
