Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Social & Digital Media Specialist on a permanent basis. We are seeking a trendspotting, socially savvy expert to join our marketing team. The successful candidate will work primarily from home but will be required to do in-person shoots on a biweekly basis. We are seeking candidates located in Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, or Edmonton. What you’ll do: Create engaging, organic social media content that aligns with brand and campaign strategies, tailored for each platform. Plan, schedule, and publish content using Sprout Social, ensuring coordination with paid media efforts and internal teams. Track content performance against established benchmarks, providing monthly reports and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders. Manage online interactions, responding to inquiries, moderating discussions, and fostering a positive digital community. Partner with local Co-ops to showcase community stories, uphold social media best practices, and support influencer and campaign initiatives. Who you’ll work with:You will report to and work closely with the Supervisor, Social Media on a team that values relationship building and innovation. You will collaborate often with our larger marketing team including other specialists, copywriters, and our Media Buyer. This team also provides dedicated expertise to local Co-ops by helping them optimize their social media presence. Why it matters: We help local Co-ops grow and thrive by offering a range of professional services, including marketing, market research, information technology, human resources, accounting, risk management and business development. ​ Who you are: You are looking for a career in marketing & communications and: Have 3-6 years' experience in digital marketing and social media.
