Business Systems Analyst

**Position Summary**:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) role is to work with the Scrum Team and Product Owner to plan, design, develop and launch effective IT solutions. Some of the major components of this architecture include a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), a Business Process Management System (BPMS), Business Rule Engine (BRE) and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Delivery is accomplished using an Agile-Scrum approach, including self-organization, short iterations, strong collaboration and dedicated teams in scrum rooms.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working in an Agile environment, delivering working software iteratively
- Able to work with business stakeholders in order to define requirements in small increments for team consumption
- Experience with BRMS such as Corticon, JBoss, Drools, Governor
- Experience with BPMS such as Appian, Lombardi, Savvion
- Good understanding of relational database principals and working knowledge of SQL
- Experience working in a SOA environment
- Agile Testing (including automation) experience a benefit
- Programming experience a benefit
- Good analytical, problem solving, and trouble-shooting skills

**Summary**
407 ETR's Information Technology division is responsible for the infrastructure and software to enable the efficient operation of the highway-including toll capture, account management, financials, and data storage/analytics-as well as customer services including call-center, web, IVR and supporting workflows.
Delivery is accomplished using an Agile-Scrum approach, including self-organization, short iterations, strong collaboration, and dedicated teams in scrum rooms.
At 407, all developers meet weekly to briefly hear updates from management, then break off into multiple learning streams. Topics include Cloud, Best Practices in Java, Data Streaming, SalesForce and Data Science. Some weeks, the streams are very hands-on (i.e. getting AWS.CLI up and running, playing with Kubernetes, learning Python). The developer led topics range from a learning above a wide variety of topics (i.e. Cloud, Best Practices in Java, Data Streaming, SalesForce, Data Science...).
