**About the opportunity**:
To meet the needs of our constantly evolving clientele, Best Way Stone is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for optimizing of financial processes and facilitating informed decision-making, conducting in-depth analyses of financial and production data. This position is responsible for identifying and addressing operational inefficiencies within Best Way Stone, ensuring cost-effectiveness, enhancing profitability, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-Year Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of experience in a cost or financial analyst role within a manufacturing company.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
- Advanced MS Excel, Access and Power BI skills for reporting and data analysis
- A solid understanding of Information Systems
- A familiarity with Sage 300 ERP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

- Some of the responsibilities for this role include:_
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation and management of budgets.
- Assist in cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency.
- Develop, update, and optimize Power BI reports,
- Assist in the completion of various month
- and year
- end tasks including journal entry, material usage variance analysis preparation etc..
- Conduct cost and cost-benefit analyses to optimize expenses and improve profitability.
- Monitor and review data accuracy in company databases, including Sage, Access
- production, access
- shipping log, and Power BI.
- Provide proactive support to other Production, Shipping, and other departments, including support for PO system.
- Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests and offer financial insights.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, presenting financial information in a clear and understandable manner to non-financial stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
