**Job Title**: IT Analyst
**Reports to**:Manager, IT Operations
The IT Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support, maintenance, and improvement of Sporting Life Group’s IT solutions. This position is responsible for the technical support, planning, coordination, and administration, including associated employees’ hardware and software. This position is also responsible for assisting system administrator on systems maintenance, plans and implements major software upgrades, and ensures that change management procedures and methodologies are implemented and followed.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Record actions taken in the Help Desk management software
- Interact with other IT staff to close completed calls and notify clients
- Notify management of any situations likely to result in escalation, extended client downtime, or indicating a possible wider impact on other clients
- Provide technical expertise and support on Microsoft Office 365
- Provide supports to Systems administration on managing IT infrastructure including - but not limited to - Windows Active Directory infrastructure, VDI, Meraki network solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the development methodology cycle to implement the required information technology (IT) solutions to meet business requirements
- Provide support, including on-call, shift and/or weekend work as required; monitor performance of systems and service agreements to ensure that ongoing service delivery standards, service levels and IT policies are met
- Configure and set up new devices for employees - laptop, phone, tablet etc.
- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; communicate opportunities to team to add value to job accomplishments.
- Engineer Hardware and Software solutions for operational needs.
- Install new or rebuild existing services and hardware, peripherals, settings, storage, etc. to achieve operational requirements and project specifications.
- Research and recommend improvements to the organization’s hardware, software and infrastructure.
- Manage mobile devices using MDM solution
- analyze diagnostic information about uncommon cross-functional problems or issues, and provide recommendations for resolution to more senior colleagues or management; work autonomously to resolve complex problems in a multi-functional setting, assessing and communicating issues of technology impact on the function/corporate level
- Maintain, monitor, analyses system components and make recommendations regarding computer system security, monitor network, computer and storage utilization.
- Create documentations and provide on-the-job training to employees and vendors.
- Remote/Phone desktop supports and onsite visits as required
- Perform other duties and projects as required.

- A university degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft server and AD administration
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Windows 2008/2012 Server infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File and Print)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with providing level 1
- Minimum 3 years of supporting multi location environment
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Skilled at working within a team-oriented and a collaborative work environment
- Previous experience providing small business IT support
- Experienced on a MDM solution
- Working Knowledge of backup technologies and
- Working with and troubleshooting all of the following, including, but not limited to: SMTP, SNMP, SNTP, FTP, SSL, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, telnet, SFTP, DNS, RDP, TCP, ICMP.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically while acting independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent phone, oral and written communication skills are a must along with the demonstrated ability to handle challenging calls in a professional manner.
