Business Process Analyst

Overview:

- Key Responsibilities:
- Document, analyze, and map end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and areas for improvement.- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on business process engineering and optimization initiatives, ensuring they align with organisational objectives.-
- Design automated workflows and digital process solutions using AI, RPA, and NLP technologies.- Train and support team members and stakeholders on new processes.- Regularly review and audit processes for improvement.- Develop KPIs and metrics to track process effectiveness and efficiency.- Process mining and generation of insights through data analysis, pattern sensing and predictive analytics
- Education & Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst, with a proven track record of success in leading complex process re-engineering projects.- Strong background in finance or engineering with a deep understanding of business operations- Hands-on experience in documenting business processes, driving automation, and implementing process improvement strategies.- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and senior management, to achieve project objectives.- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges.- In-depth knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools such as BPMN, Visio, and ARIS.- Experience in leading change management efforts, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training development.-
- Experience working in financial institutions or the retail industry is highly desirable.
- Certifications and Technical Skills Required:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification, with a thorough understanding of business analysis best practices.- Expertise in BPM tools, process mining and automation platforms- Familiarity with ERP, CRM and workflow management systems- Experience with data analysis, process optimization and reporting tools.- Proficiency in using data analysis and reporting tools to support process improvement initiatives, including Excel, SQL, and BI tools is an added advantage.- Lean Six Sigma, Process Modelling and Mapping (Visio, Lucid, Signavio etc)- RPA/Low-Code Workflow Automation (Copilot, Power Automate. Appian)- Project Management (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) & Design Thinking methodologies- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence is added advantage
