**Position Summary**:
The Administrative Services Supervisor is responsible for providing a full range of executive and department wide administrative leadership and support. This position ensures administrative services at the OCNO are coordinated across the team and in alignment with administrative services across the organization. Key activities carried out in this role include: provision and coordination of administrative services, office management services, as well as technical support for the OCNO, including its senior management team, its operations and projects that advance the mandate and priorities of the FNHA, and the OCNO specifically. This position provides administrative leadership, coordination of department wide administrative support, implementation of plans, systems, processes and procedures essential for effective and efficient operations of the OCNO.

**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. **Responsibilities**:

- Leads and models cultural safety, humility, relational practice and a trauma informed approach in all interactions, partnerships and initiatives.
- Provides leadership that creates and fosters a healthy and engaging environment that enables personal excellence, contributes to FNHA’s vision of “Health through Wellness” and cultural safety and humility in the workplace.
- Provides administrative leadership for the coordination of a variety of OCNO management meetings and senior level meetings with partners - this includes coordination, development and distribution of a wide variety of material using Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to agendas, pre-meeting material, and meeting kits.
- Develops, implements and maintains administrative systems, procedures, processes, and standards for the OCNO, in collaboration with colleagues and other FNHA departments as appropriate.
- Acts as a point of contact for the OCNO- including, liaison and coordination support to other departments across FNHA and the FNHA Senior Executive Team members.
- Develops and maintains team work plans and supports the development of initiative specific work plans including budgets, resource requirements, evaluation methodology, follow up and reporting, utilizing the software, tools and processes the department puts in place.

**Qualifications**:
**Education & Occupations**
- Diploma in business administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:
**Knowledge and Experiences**
- Knowledge of First Nations cultures and backgrounds, and the understanding of how culture impacts on communication patterns, attitudes and approaches to health issues.
- Demonstrated presence in cultural safety and humility.
- Understanding of clinical nursing practice, including but not limited to, the nursing process in general and in rural and remote communities as well as health system information.
- Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations in a senior administrative or management capacity.
- Progressively responsible administrative experience, including support at a senior executive level. (usually acquired over a period of 4-6 years).
- Demonstrated ability to manage people and budgets.
