This role is an integral part of our Communicable Disease Population & Public Health team, ensuring administrative services are coordinated across the team.
**Title**: Supervisor, Administrative Services
**Salary**: $72,841 - $91,051 - $100,156 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Term - until March 31, 2026
**Hours**: Full-time - 37.5 hours (core hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)
**Location**: Sinclair (Downtown Vancouver) - on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations - Hybrid - in office 3 days per week minimum (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).
**About the role**
As the Supervisor, Administrative Services, you will be responsible for providing a full range of executive and department administrative leadership and support. You will provide administrative leadership, coordination of department administrative support, supervision, training and mentorship for CDPPH administrative staff. You will also oversee administrative support within the department on a day-to-day basis including orientation and on-boarding, training on departmental systems, processes and procedures, assigning work, establishing priority, coaching, on the job training, and performance management. As well as you will provide financial management support to the CDPPH leadership team.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be
- **Education**
- Diploma in business administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
**Experience**
- Progressively responsible administrative experience, including support at a senior executive level (usually acquired over a period of 4-6 years)
- Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations in a senior administrative or management capacity
**Knowledge**
- Understanding of clinical nursing practice, including but not limited to, the nursing process in general and in rural and remote communities as well as health system information
- Knowledge of First Nations cultures and backgrounds, and the understanding of how culture impacts on communication patterns, attitudes and approaches to health issues
- Demonstrated ability to manage people and budgets
- Superior interpersonal, communication, facilitation, coaching and leadership skills
- Proven ability to foster a collaborative team approach to decision making and to interact tactfully and effectively with staff and others at all organizational levels
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
