As the chiropractic/pedorthic office administrator at Dr. Chris Anderson & Pacific Pedorthic clinic, you would be responsible for greeting patients in a friendly and professional manner, checking them in, directing them to a treatment room, managing and maintain clinic schedules, booking appointments, taking payments, billing insurance providers, sending faxes, cleaning the clinic throughout the day, and a variety of other in-office tasks.

Current schedule is 8:30-5:30 Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Tuesdays and Thursdays are shorter administrative hours with a flexible schedule.

**Starting date will be immediate with as much training as possible prior to commencing.**

You are:

- Professional, friendly and efficient. Clean criminal records check is required.
- Able to follow procedures and systems, use internet and web-based software, such as direct billing programs (prior experience with Janeapp booking program and the Telus Halth EPortal is an asset).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Typing, using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Self-directed and motivated; focused on your role and responsibilities.
- Willing to continue to learn and willing to complete tasks outside the daily routine

Experience
- Administrative Assistant: 2 years (preferred)
- Receptionist: 2 years (preferred)

Education
- Secondary school

Rate of pay
- $18/hour (Additional Bonus program paid monthly)

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Patients are booked and held to a specific appointment time which ensures that there should only be one patient in the office at any one time. All clients are required to wear a mask, and plexiglass barriers are in place around reception area.
