Summit Start Cityscape is looking for a dynamic and creative Administrative Services Coordinator to join our team

Summit Start Cityscape is a vibrant childcare center dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Our mission is to inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.
**Position Overview**:
The Administrative Services Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the daycare. This position supports the leadership team, staff, and families by managing front-desk duties, maintaining records, and assisting with enrollment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate child and staff records (enrollment forms, immunization records, emergency contacts, etc.) on multiple systems
- Assist with enrollment and orientation of new families.
- Support the daycare director or leadership team with reports, scheduling, and documentation.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure smooth functioning of the daycare.
- Greet visitors & maintain office presentation standards
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy & care
- Organize & maintain office inventory and supplies
- Keep shared spaces organized and stocked.
**Requirements**:
- **Exceptional technical and computer skills,** including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Must be between **18 and 30 years of age** at the start of employment (as per the Canada Summer Jobs program).
- Must be a **Canadian citizen**or **permanent resident**(as per the Canada Summer Jobs program).
- Experience using childcare management software or the ability to learn quickly.
- Outstanding customer service abilities & philosophy
- Good understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position is part of the Canada Summer Job Program. Participants are hired on a fixed term contract with the possibility of permanent employment at the end of the summer.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
