**Required Qualifications**:
Some post-secondary education.
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration, credentialing, medical staff coordination, or similar roles. Previous experience with financial processes such as invoice preparation, payment requisitions, and stipend processing is preferred. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and shared drive systems. Exceptional organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with physicians, leadership, and support staff. Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while managing competing priorities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issue. Basic understanding of accruals and physician payment structures within healthcare environments. Previous experience coordinating medical staff privileging or credentialing in a healthcare or academic setting.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of AHS Medical Staff Bylaws, Medical Affairs processes, and related provincial regulations. Experience with PeopleSoft, ROCA system, and UofC eProcurement and eFin tools. Familiarity with Alberta Health Services (AHS), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) requirements is an asset.
