Our Front Office Activities Coordinator is responsible for the daily service of our breakfast buffet and ensures that all breakfast buffet supplies are well stocked so that all of our guests are satisfied.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set-up, maintain and take down the breakfast buffet.to a consistently high standard.
- Ensure guests’ needs and concerns are responded to in a timely, professional and friendly manner with a focus on service recovery when applicable;
- Monitor inventory of breakfast items and make online food orders and receive deliveries. Reconcile deliveries against delivery notes and invoices.
- Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests by maintaining the breakfast buffet with fresh food at all times, in a clean and presentable manner.
- Set up and take down each morning's breakfast buffet.
- Ensure food preparation and presentation standards are upheld and prepared according to restaurant standards.
- Maintain the safety and appearance of the buffet area;
- Operate cooking equipment.
- Ensure buffet items (such fruits, breads, cereals and bakery items) remain well-stocked during service.
- Clean the area in preparation for the next day; replenish silverware, light to moderate food preparation, refill beverage containers
- Monitor that proper procedures are being followed and necessary tasks are completed properly.
- Manage, resolve or escalate any and all Guest complaints in a friendly and professional manner to the standard of the Banff Lodging Company
- Ensure inter-departmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the safety and upkeep of the breakfast room.Work safely. Obey all health and safety policies and procedures and report injuries and hazards immediately.
- Additional duties may be assigned to help meet guest needs.

- Physically fit and able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
