**Administrative Assistant**

**Job description**
- Maintain office cleanliness by ensuring that all areas are sanitized and clean
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc.
- Answer detailed phone calls from customers in a professional manner
- Prepare detailed billing
- Prepare detailed financial statements for review by management team
- Perform other administrative tasks as requested by the owners or manager of the office
- Experience with calculating and filing government remittances for HST, payroll, source deductions, WSIB and Employee Contributions.
- Assist in Estimating
- Keep up to date with Health and Safety

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred.
- Must be able to work independently; ability to multitask; ability to prioritize; ability to manage time effectively; attention to detail is imperative. Experience with Google Suite or similar software is preferred.
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, Familiar with sage
- A/P, A/R, bank & G/L reconciliation experience
- Payroll Experience
- Professional presentation and conduct
- Responsible and self-managed
- Excellent follow-up and tracking skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
