**Accounts Receivable/Payable Manager**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accounts Payable:_
- Review and manage the entry and coding of AP transactions and oversee cheque runs.
- Analyze AP transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Liaise with vendors and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Review, implement and document processes, policies and procedures and internal controls
- Work with other members of accounting team and other business units to implement new systems
- Accounts Receivable:_
- Oversee a team of AR Clerks, this includes functions related to:

- receipting and creation of deposits in the Yardi system.
- Production of N1/N4 forms as required.
- Analyze ledgers to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collections - contact tenants/owners for arrears
- Interact with Clients and Property Managers to resolve issues and provide support.
- Review, implement and document processes, policies and procedures and internal controls
- Work with other members of accounting team and other business units to implement new systems
- People Management:_
- Manage a team of 8+ accounting clerks, providing training, oversight and performance management.
- Establish, refine, and implement processes and procedures, ensuring consistency across the team.
- Hire, train, and motivate team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Oversee routine department activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.
- Compile, analyze, and report financial information to management and government agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software experience with Yardi Voyager is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
