**Job Posting - Assistant F&I Manager**
The Assistant Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager prepares documents relating to financing and insurance programs, aftermarket products, vehicle licensing and warranty’s. The Assistant F&I Manager will also co-ordinate vehicle deliveries between departments, will handle final paperwork on delivery, and see all documentation through the funding process. As with all positions within dealerships, F&I managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards. Managers are required to not only understand and keep abreast of the federal, provincial, and local regulations that affect their operations, but must also comply with these regulations. Management personnel require strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors, as they represent the dealership. People working within the automotive retail industry often have to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals.
**The Details**
**Develop Strong Relationships with Customers to**:
- Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval and through the proper federal, provincial, and corporate channels.
- Working directly with the General Manager and Sales Manager to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
- Understanding and complying with federal, provincial and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle and finance departments.
- Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.
**Be detailed oriented**
- Listen to and document customer needs and expectations throughout the sales visit.
- Follow up with customers in a way that works best for them.
- Prepare for the delivery of new vehicle. Ensures all details of the F & I Process are completed.
- Ensure all documentation/paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review and analyze actions regularly to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
- Maintain timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time.

- Stay up-to-date on all dealership training programs.
- Be knowledgeable about new features, specials and updates.
- Be a champion for delivering excellent service at all times.
- Actively maintain the cleanliness of personal and team workspaces.

- Keep up to date with products, accessories, prices and key features of major competitors.

- Holds a valid driver’s license.

- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
**Education & Experience**
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- College certificate or additional courses would be an asset.
- Automotive sales experience would be an asset.
- Provincially licensed as recognized by the MVDA (OMVIC)
