**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **IT Finance Co-Op Student** to join our **IT Finance Department**team in Sudbury.

This is a fixed term, on-site position**,** working a Monday
- Friday schedule. This is a 12 month-fixed term co-op position starting in May 2025.

As an **IT Finance Co-Op Student**, you will assist with the primary finance functions including budget cycle, reporting and data management activities for the IT department. Your experience and skills will help ensure accurate financial reporting, support decision-making processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the IT Finance area

Additionally, in this position you will:

- Budget Coordination: Help gather and organize budget inputs from different departments.
- Financial Monitoring: Track key financial indicators and assist with variance analysis.
- Reporting and Data Management: Prepare financial reports, manage data inputs, and ensure accuracy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders and support managers with financial reviews.
- Vendor and Invoice Management: Assist with vendor performance tracking and invoice processing.
- Project and Workflow Support: Help with project management tasks, create workflows, and document procedures.

**About You**

**Education**:

- Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year Finance, Accounting or related program

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
