Site Administration Coordinator

The **SITE ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR **will be responsible for supporting the General Manager as well as the HR Manager at the TC Whitby plant. This position will focus on administrative support and payroll management in the Plant. The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation of weekly, bi-weekly payrolls, benefits administration, and monthly reporting requirements. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating travel, planning site event and performing ad hoc administrative duties for the Plant.
**What you will do**:
- Perform all data entry related activities for the Human Resources department.
- Execute day to day HR activities such as policy administration, employee data maintenance and reporting.
- Maintain organized paper and electronic personnel files.
- Manage all new hire documentation and on-boarding processes.
- Respond to basic HR inquiries regarding various processes.
- Responsible for the preparation of weekly, bi-weekly payrolls
- Administration of company benefits program; inclusive of enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Administer Short Term Disability and Long-Term Disability programs.
- Responsible for updating regular HR/payroll reports to Corporate
- Process invoices and payment requests
- Coordinate travel for the site
- Provide administrative support to the GM as required
- Plan and organize plant visits by external visitors
- Assist in the preparation of the site newsletter
- Responsible for updating the phone system, access cards, distribution lists etc., when changes to personnel occur.
- Plan and organize events such as the Annual Golf Tournament, Children’s Christmas Party
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**What you have to offer**
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now would be an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very strong attention to detail
- Proven time management skills with ability to multi-task
- Must be proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Heightened sensitivity to managing confidential information throughout all levels of the organization
- Excellent problem-solving ability
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
