Job Overview:
**Mandate**: To assist the Human Resources Manager with the day to day tasks of the human resources department and support a wide range of HR activities including recruitment, updating and implementing HR policies and procedures, employee database management and general administrative duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, verifying work-history, references, onboarding and offboarding
- Create and manage a recruiting database
- Actively participate in all job recruiting opportunities, including job fairs, online portals, etc.
- Update and maintain employee database, including all contact information, job descriptions, contracts and benefits
- Assist with internal events, including social events, wellness programs and training activities
- Help strengthen the ECHOtape mission and vision across the organization
- Assist in travel arrangements when applicable
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
- Provide backup to reception

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years experience in an HR position
- Knowledge and experience with recruitment concepts, practices and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
- Great interpersonal skills
- High ethical standards and ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent computer skills, strong knowledge in Office 365 products
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- HR Certification an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
