Position Summary

Reports To

Human Resources, Manager

Specific Responsibilities- Administer compensation and benefit changes associated with hires, salary increases, equity adjustments, promotions, transfers, terminations and leaves of absence.- Conduct the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation sessions, and manage all related documentation.- Administer and explain benefits programs and make enrollments and/or changes in a timely and accurate manner.- Calculate vacation allotments and balances as well as benefits monthly premiums.- Support employees with the various platforms (payroll, benefits, retirement savings plan).-
- Participate in the implementation of initiatives for Bill 96/101 to ensure that the company meets all requirements (coordinate committee meetings, issuing reports for authorities).- Work collaboratively with all department coordinators to gather required documentation for Bill 90 and ensure the company meets all requirements.- Maintain and update databases and reports for HR metrics.- In collaboration with the HR Manager, organize various corporate events and activities aimed at reinforcing Paladin’s culture.- Discretion & Integrity- Sense of priorities- Problems solving- Self-motivated & Proactive- Initiative and follow through- Well-developed team skills- Excellent interpersonal skills- Meticulousness / detail-oriented- Enthusiasm and desire to learn

Required- BS/BA in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or other related field.- 1 to 2 years of experience in Human Resources.- Effective oral and written communication skills, in both French and English.

Asset- Experience in benefit administration and recruiting in pharmaceutical industry.- General knowledge of employment law.- Knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures.- Experience with Workday HRIS.
