Our agency supports and supervises licensed family day home educators, ensuring compliance with provincial childcare regulations while fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for children.

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented **Administrative Assistant** to support the day-to-day operations of our agency. This role will report to the Agency Directors/Coordinators and involves assisting with educator recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance visits, financial transactions, maintaining records, and other administrative duties essential to the efficient running of our agency.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Educator Support & Compliance**
- Assist with **recruitment, onboarding, and training** of new educators.
- Monitor and supervise licensed educators to ensure compliance with **Alberta child care regulations**.
- Coordinate and schedule the agency consultants' **compliance visits** and investigations.
- Maintain and update educator records and training logs.

**2. Administrative & Financial Duties**
- Process **financial transactions**, including receiving parent fees and grants from Children’s Services.
- Maintain **digital and physical records** for licensing, contracts, and educator documentation.
- Create and manage **spreadsheets, forms, and logs** using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Support consultants working in the field with administrative tasks.

**3. Marketing & Community Engagement**
- Assist with **agency marketing, social media updates, and advertisement campaigns**.
- Help organize **community engagement initiatives and events**.

**4. Office Administration & Daily Operations**
- Track and manage **daily administrative tasks** to ensure smooth office operations.
- Support **file management, digital storage organization, and reporting**.
- Coordinate with **educators, parents, and regulatory agencies** as needed.

**Qualifications & Skills Required**:
**Minimum 1 year** of experience in an **administrative support role** within a **Family Day Home Agency, school, or daycare setting in Alberta**.
**Advanced technical skills** in **Microsoft Word and Excel** (ability to create tables, forms, and spreadsheets is essential).
Strong **organizational and time management skills**.
Excellent **written and verbal communication skills**.
**Level 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification** is a **huge asset**.
Must be a **Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident**.

**Work Environment**:

- **Office-based role** with occasional fieldwork
- Fast-paced work environment requiring multitasking and attention to detail.
