People & Culture Specialist

Orchard Custom Beauty, powered by Innovative Beauty Group, is looking for a People & Culture Specialist to join the team. This enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individual will coordinate and assist with HR activities for Mississauga and New York sites, including but not limited to recruitment, retention, employee relations, training, organizational development, compliance, and employee engagement activities.

AS OUR PEOPLE & CULTURE SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:

- Provide guidance and support on all employee relations issues.
- Nourish a team-oriented culture through recognition programs and social events.
- Act as a system administrator on our training platform ,and oversee all training needs & KPIs for the site.
- Facilitate all administrative HR processes: reporting, onboarding, training, exit interviews, and others.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU:
As a People & Culture Specialist, we are looking for someone who is self-driven, tactful and organized. Furthermore, you would have to have:

- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or another relevant field
- Completed or working towards a CHRP/CPHR/CHRL designation is preferable
- 3 years of work experience in Human Resources field
- Experience working internationally and with US employment standards preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and in a high-paced team environment with changing priorities. Problem-solving capability.
- A demonstrated change agent who is comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by excellent attention to details, follow-up and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with sound judgment and discretion.
