**PURPOSE**

The Coordinator, Human Resources is accountable to the Manager, Human Resources for supporting the Human Resources function in a variety of tasks and projects in the areas of payroll and human resources to ensure that the departmental goals are continuously met and high standard of client services is provided to all stakeholders.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Recruitment, On-boarding, Off-boarding**
- **Talent Management**
- **Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Data Input and Analysis**
Supports payroll by inputting all employee and payroll changes including new hires into the company’s HRIS system; completes monthly, quarterly and yearly audits on a variety of metrics to ensure policies are followed. Corresponds with department managers on actions required to ensure the company HRIS system is kept up to date. Performs analysis and audits of various adhoc reports throughout the year as assigned to ensure legislative compliance across Canada.
- **Administration & Tracking**
Creates all letters related to Human Resources. Processes and maintain HR related documents and files, including electronic files. Follow up with managers accordingly, to ensure that all required documentation for Payroll, and approvals for Request to Hires have been received. Completes monthly, quarterly and yearly employment status audits.
- **Human Resources Communication**
Contributes to the set up and development of the HR intranet main page (AGORA). Accountable for the integrity of the information added to and maintained on the intranet page. Generates periodic communications of new or updated policies and procedures via the HR AGORA tab.
- **Employee Relations**
Thorough knowledge of all HR related policies and procedures on order to respond to routine requests through HRAssist, escalating moderate to complex problems/issues to Manager, Human Resources or other, as appropriate. Ensures exit interviews are conducted to gain knowledge into reasons for turnover. Participates in corporate health and safety initiatives and programs, and the wellness program where applicable.
- **Intern, Coop Program & Take our Kids to Work day**
Maintains school relations. Assists with the implementation, coordination and delivery of the intern and coop program including recruiting, orientation, event planning, responding managers and intern inquires, etc. to ensure successful delivery of the program and activities; collects feedback from participants to assess the program and provides recommendations for improvement.

Any other job related duties and/or projects that may be assigned.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education**
- College diploma in Human Resources, Payroll or related field or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of previous human resources experience within a corporate environment
- Previous experience providing service to internal clients and other stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of talent management concepts
- Previous experience with an HRIS and/or talent management system

**Core Competencies**
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good judgement
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to deliver quality results while working under pressure
- Proven record of delivering excellent customer service.

**Additional Requirements**
- Working towards CHRP designation is an asset

Basic understanding of employment legislation is an asset
