**HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Abatement, Restoration, Industrial Safety, Professional Cleaning and Surface Preparation market. As part of our continued growth, we are excited to welcome an enthusiastic team player to join our dynamic team in the role of Human Resources Coordinator.
OBJECTIVE
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a pivotal role, providing essential support to the Human Resources Generalist. This position actively contributes to the development and implementation of HR policies and various administrative functions. The incumbent acts on behalf of employees to resolve issues with insurance providers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support:
- Support Human Resources in all transactional HR functions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive personnel records.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, and assist with various administrative tasks.
Recruitment and Selection:
- Assist in the recruitment and selection processes, including checking prospective employee references.
Policy and Communication:
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
- Distribute HR policies, procedures, and memorandums to relevant individuals across the organization.
- Prepare formal communications to employees.
Benefits Administration:
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
- Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Reconcile benefits statements.
Employee Relations and Development:
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Assist with employee orientation and training.
- Help ensure organization-wide compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of the performance review process.
- Prepare new employee files.
- Assist with processing terminations.
Record Keeping and Compliance:
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate office records and files in their proper locations.
- Streamline HR processes by eliminating unnecessary or outdated materials, adhering to file maintenance/legal guidelines.
- Assist with maintaining the HR SharePoint Intranet page.
Other Duties as Assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field; or work-related experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or Assistant preferred.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Politically and culturally sensitive.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong morals and ethics, with a commitment to employee privacy.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Professional appearance and manners.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Manual dexterity required to use a desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime as required.
- Lifting or moving up to 10 lbs. may be required.
