**ROLE SUMMARY**
The Staff Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all counsellors and Unit Heads at Centre Camp, ensuring they are trained, supported, and effectively working together to deliver a positive experience for campers. This role involves supervising the daily operations of camp staff, ensuring that both counsellors and Unit Heads meet expectations and provide quality care to children.

**KEY DELIVERABLES**
- Oversee and manage the performance and wellbeing of all counsellors and unit heads
- Conduct staff training and team-building exercises to ensure counsellors and unit heads are well-prepared for the summer season
- Monitor and assess staff interactions with campers, providing guidance and feedback as needed
- Ensure staff and unit heads are adhering to camp policies, safety procedures, and guidelines
- Act as a liaison between counsellors, unit heads, camp directors, and parents
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team environment
- Ensure staff and unit heads are equipped with necessary resources and tools to succeed in their roles
- Handle any staff or unit head issues or conflicts, escalating when necessary
- Support unit heads in overseeing specific camper groups and ensuring quality programming
- Provide guidance and leadership during staff meetings and training sessions
- Organize and manage staff and unit head paperwork, such as attendance logs, incident reports, and evaluations

**Relevant experience** in managing or coordinating staff in a camp or recreation setting is considered an asset.

**Expected start date**: 2025-06-16

**Job Type**: Seasonal
**Contract length**: 2.5 months
**Pay**: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month

Pay: $3,000.00-$4,000.00 per month
