The Granite Club is looking for a Camp Leader for the summer that will lead counsellors and campers through activities and provide a safe and stimulating environment for children in the Recreation camp program.

Primary Responsibilities
- Safe check in and out of campers every day.
- Assist children to get ready for activities.
- Provide a safe and fun environment for the campers.
- Ensure rules are adhered to.
- Answer questions or concerns from parents regarding the camps.
- Play games with the campers indoors and outdoors.
- Encourage campers to engage in sports and recreation activities to their best abilities.
- Be on time for shift and ensure you are prepared for the day’s activities.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Previous Camp Counsellor experience an asset.
- Responsible and patient person who enjoys working with children.
- Physically active and enjoys playing sports, including basketball and soccer.
- Experience working with children would be an asset.
- Previous experience working as a camp counselor would be an asset.
- Ability to develop children’s love for sports.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Safety Training (WHMIS).
