**Assistant Manager, Stittsville ReStore**

Habitat Restore is a social enterprise retailer that accepts and resells donations of new and used furniture, appliances, décor, and home improvement building materials. All profits from our operations fund Habitat for Humanity. _This is a full-time position with benefits_.

**Primary Functions**:
The position is intended to support the ReStore Manager across all aspects of operations including managerial responsibilities and to ensure operations continue seamlessly in the Manager’s absence.

**Reports to**: Store Manager

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Nurture a welcoming and positive environment for staff, volunteers, customers, and donors.
- Help drive sales and donations through excellent customer service.
- Ensure adherence to ReStore policies, procedures, and safety standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and productive workplace
- Oversee intake, pricing, and merchandising of donated goods.
- Lead staff and volunteers in seeing daily and long-term operational needs met.
- Support ReStore Manager in administrative tasks such as scheduling, weekly deposits, etc. Supervision of daily financial reconciliation.
- Participate in hiring, training, and monitoring/addressing staff performance.
- Take a lead role in onboarding and coordinating in-store volunteers. Cultivate a positive volunteer experience to build recruitment and retention.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 3 years of experience in retail, warehousing, or volunteer management
- Supervisory/Managment experience in retail or elsewhere
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven and effective leadership skills
- Basic proficiency in Excel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $36,700.00-$40,000.00 per year
