**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Warehouse Operations:
- Direct and manage daily warehouse functions, including inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving.
- Optimize warehouse processes for maximum efficiency, using proven industry techniques.
- Ensure all operations meet productivity and quality goals.
- Staff Management:
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, enforcing high-performance standards and safety compliance.
- Must have experience in hiring, firing, and performance management.
- Schedule shifts, manage timekeeping, and ensure proper staffing levels.
- Inventory Management:
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Work closely with purchasing teams to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent inventory shortages.
- Technology and Systems Management:
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
- Experience with Manhattan Scale WMS is highly preferred (training provided if necessary).
- Health and Safety:
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections.
**Qualifications**:
- Education:
Minimum college degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role, including staff management responsibilities. Experience in the automotive or parts industry is a strong advantage.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with hands-on involvement in daily operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with WMS software.
- Physically fit to handle warehouse tasks, including lifting and moving products.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Requirements:
- Weekend availability, along with flexibility during the weekdays.
