**Job Title: Assistant Warehouse Manager**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Warehouse Operations**:

- Assist in managing the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory control, order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Optimize warehouse processes for efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor workflow and adjust as necessary to meet operational goals.

**Staff Management**:

- Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring effective performance, safety, and compliance with company policies.
- Schedule shifts and manage timekeeping, ensuring appropriate staffing levels for all shifts.

**Inventory Management**:

- Oversee inventory accuracy, including conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
- Ensure stock levels are adequately maintained, working with the purchasing team to replenish inventory as needed.

**Technology and Systems Management**:

- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for accurate inventory control and order processing.
- Experience with Manhattan Scale WMS is a strong asset but not mandatory, as training will be provided.

**Health and Safety**:

- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety standards and conducting regular inspections.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Minimum college degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience.

**Skills**:

- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), with Manhattan Scale WMS experience considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Physically fit and able to handle warehouse tasks, including lifting and moving products.
- Highly responsible with excellent time management and organizational skills.

**Availability**:

- Weekend availability is required to meet the demands of the role, with flexibility during the weekdays.
