Position Responsibilities
- Provide mentorship to the leadership team in developing a culture of continuous improvement company wide.
- Actively support the culture change towards continuous improvement by training, developing, and implementing improvement processes, while using operational excellence tools.
- Identify a Continuous Improvement Roadmap and ensure its alignment with 407’s strategic development plans.
- Collaborate with business owners from multiple departments across the company to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimizations.
- Leverage analytical tools and data to diagnose, recommend and resolve significant process issues with an ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive change across the functional area.
- Prepare and present business cases for identified optimization initiatives.
- Lead multiple Value Stream Mapping projects, including: Current State Value Stream Mapping, Identification of metrics, Data Planning/Collection/Analytic, Analysis of Waste via efficient execution of lean
- Six Sigma tools for optimal performance, Future State Value Stream Mapping, Project Management of the Future State Implementation Plan
- Work with the technology team to understand and manage readiness for technology changes related to optimization initiatives.
- Assume ownership of the design, development, implementation, change management, and success measures of proposed optimization initiatives.
- Communicate the status of initiatives and associated projects or teams to appropriate levels of the organization, including Senior Management.
- Continuously evaluate and operationalize Lean and Continuous Improvement best practices.
- Develop framework for documentation and storage of business processes as well as business capabilities.
- Conduct Business Impact assessments.
- Act as Ambassador for measurement, accountability, and a disciplined approach to process improvement throughout the Organization.

**Qualifications**:
Formal Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or equivalent

Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience leading teams in a lean transformation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in with Process analysis and design
- Lean Expert who can teach and coach.
- Deep Value Stream mapping expertise.
- Lean and Six Sigma certifications required.
- Exceptional understanding of Lean principles.
- Familiar with process documentation tools.
- Proven project management experience including end-to-end project lifecycle -Experience in building business cases and calculating projects ROI and NPV.
- Experience in customer operations and billing processes in utilities or telecom companies would be considered an asset.
