This is an entry-level dual role that supports senior management while also generating revenue.
What you’ll be doing:
- Proactively reaching out to potential clients to create leads
- Converting leads into opportunities
- Closing those opportunities
- Follow-up with the sales team on converted leads to track the status and quality of the leads as they move through the sales cycle
- Keep account records up to date in the CRM and log all activities
- Work with the Sales Manager in your territory to help close proposals
- Represent the company at tradeshows and industry events
- Grow and maintain a healthy pipeline
- Create various reports for Senior Management
- Other tasks as required
Who you are:
- A highly motivated team player with a great attitude
- Excellent communicator, good presenter, comfortable and competent with executive level meetings
- Data focused with an attention to detail
- Curious by nature and a fast learner
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with no travel restrictions to the United States of America or Europe
What you bring to the table:
- 2+ years of sales/customer service experience with a proven track record of success (experience in the seafood industry is a plus)
- Comfortable using CRMs like Zoho, Salesforce, etc.
- A Degree from an accredited institution (Degrees in Business or Engineering are an asset)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French or Spanish is an asset)
- Ability to travel locally and internationally (up to 50%)
