**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated** Quoting and Pricing Lead **to join our dynamic team in Woodbridge, ON. The Quoting and Pricing Lead will lead team members across the US and Canada. The Quoting and Pricing Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quoting process for complex and high-value capital industrial projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and timely completion.
Travel component may be 10% of total time, but this percentage is project dependent. While AGI tries to minimize travel, the percentage is project dependent, and AGI has implemented programs to compensate for time away.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage end-to-end quoting process for large industrial capital projects mainly in the food industry.
- Review and analyze customer project specifications, technical drawings, tender documents, RFP’s and RFQ’s and other relevant documentation to accurately assess project requirements (design base), customized designs and detailed scopes on small and large capital projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, automation, electrical installation, procurement, and finance to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive project quotes and pricing.
- Use supported Quoting Management Lifecycle tools as per AGI standards and ensure all team members comply with the standard processes.
- Conduct cost analysis and estimation, considering labor, materials, equipment, services, installation, supervision, start-up and commissioning and subcontracting services and other relevant factors.
- Utilize industry specific tools and software to create detailed and competitive high-value capital project quotes.
- Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the best pricing and terms for AGI.
- Work closely with our supply management team to ensure best practice pricing.
- Develop and maintain a pricing database to track historical data, cost trends and benchmarks.
- Develop in close collaboration with sales, engineering, services and other relevant stakeholder’s standard quotes and pricing to facilitate and accelerate reaction times.
- Monitor market conditions and industry trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales and consulting team during client interactions, presenting quotes and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all relevant and related to quoting activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and processes.
- Review and understand equipment capabilities and capacities, utility & infrastructure requirements, and help developing Process Flow Diagrams and layout concepts in close collaboration with cross-functional engineering and technology departments.
- Lead and ensure best practice risk management processes as per AGI standards.
- Build relationships with senior leaders and other Program/Project owners; Interact with, prepare materials for, and present to Principals as required.
- Provide guidance to and mentor other team members.
- Maintain and continually improve technical and professional abilities described above and required to perform assigned tasks. This may be done through reading and continuing education.
- Inform Principal of problems or issues which affect the companies’ ability to meet customer requirements.
- Recommend, manage, and implement efforts to streamline the organization’s processes and establish best practices through regular inspection and feedback.

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree in Engineering and/or Project Management or Business Management education.
- Experience in a consulting environment.
- Ability to converse and collaborate with multiple departments spanning multiple disciplines, and at senior levels.
- Working knowledge of CFIA, FDA and USDA food equipment and design standards.
- Results orientated; ability to commit to and follow initiatives through to completion.
- Able to work flexible hours and multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic, high-pressured environment - managing changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Understanding food plant Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs), area designations, clean design requirements and the impact to process and equipment layout designs.
