Join our Operations team Now hiring an **Operations Support Specialist** for our Ottawa, Ontario office.

**What it’s all about**:
As an Operations Support Specialist, you are passionate about the hearing healthcare of our clients. Using your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for fulfilling orders, receiving, shipping, calibrating and maintaining equipment inventory and related documentation and systems.

**What you will do**:

- Review and verify incoming sales orders for accuracy and completeness. Assemble packages, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Documents any defects, resolves discrepancies, communicate with suppliers
- Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping according to specific requirements
- Prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer
- Receive and purchase goods, according to the company’s specific standards provided
- Communicate and coordinate requirements between sales team, shipping service providers
- Participate in inventory counts, manage the return and recycling processes

**What we are looking for**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral in English
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills with experience with Apple products (Mac and iOS devices) and strong data entry skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, when required
- Strong teamworking skills and not afraid to reach out to different departments
