**About the Role**:
Working alongside various teams within Serenia Life and our vendors to oversee projects from inception to delivery, the Project Manager is a key individual in driving successful business outcomes at Serenia Life. By providing support to the project initiation cycle and leadership for our internal initiatives, this individual will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with all scope requirements and quality standards.

Specifically, this individual will:

- Maintain the project governance structure and meeting cadence, lead and facilitate project meetings, and ensure project/program artifacts are developed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle; including but not limited to charters, implementation plans, resource models, requirements, change requests, issue and action logs, communications, and change management plans
- Synthesize business needs, gather, and understand business requirements, stand up workstreams and project teams in a short period of time, develop, maintain, and deliver detailed work-plans for approved projects utilizing appropriate methodologies and tools
- Define project scope, plan, key deliverables, risks, budget, communications, resources, the objectives, and value proposition of the project; attain alignment with senior stakeholders and project resources to ensure the successful delivery of the project
- Work closely with project leads to establish workflows, schedules, milestones, and deadlines and ensure they are clearly communicated to all stakeholders
- Build partnerships and work collaboratively to ensure projects deliver the expected benefits within the budget and timelines
- Supervise project close-out activities and ensure transition, knowledge transfer, training, benefits measurement, and change management support for stakeholders
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- 5-10 years of experience in a Project Management role
- PMP designation
- Post-secondary education or certification in Project Management, Business Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools/software
- Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to effectively multiple lead teams and projects and prioritize competing deadlines and adapting to shifting timelines and objectives
- Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to facilitate negotiations and present concepts and ideas

**Nice to Haves**:

- 3+ years experience leading projects in the insurance industry, with a specific preference for life insurance experience
