What we're looking for...
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Project Manager** to oversee and **drive the success of our client projects**. In this role, you will be integral in coordinating project timelines, managing client communications, and ensuring that our deliverables meet both Aquanty’s high standards and client expectations. As a small, flexible company, we value self-responsibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Project Coordination**: Plan, monitor, and manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple client engagements.
- **Client Engagement**: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring project progress and outcomes align with client goals.
- **Resource Allocation**: Collaborate with team members, including data scientists, software developers, and Earth scientists, to allocate resources efficiently and meet project milestones.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and issues in project workflows and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project integrity and timelines.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain detailed project documentation, create progress reports for stakeholders, and regularly update clients and internal teams.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for enhancing project workflows and contribute to developing project management best practices.
What you bring to the team...
- A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; relevant experience in climate, data analytics, or environmental projects is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience managing complex projects, ideally within a context of environmental consulting, scientific research, or environmental analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and stay detail-oriented under deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions, technical documentation, and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project) and understanding of data science and geospatial analytics concepts are assets.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with a knack for identifying potential challenges and developing actionable solutions.
