Project Manager

CCW Inc. is a North American industry leader for custom architectural millwork, casework and interior finishes and we are always looking for dynamic individuals to join our growing team.

We provide high quality millwork and interior finishes for retail, commercial, restaurant, hospitality, industrial, and multi-unit residential projects.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
The Project Manager position reports to the Director of Operations and plays an integral role in achieving our company’s project management goals and client-related objectives.

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

- Establishing goals, schedules, and deadlines for each project-related process, including site dimensioning, shop drawing submittals, fabrication, sample submittal, delivery, installation, and after-project care
- Playing a leadership role within CCW, collaborating regularly with our Estimating, Engineering, Production, Accounting, and Shipping departments, along with Project Coordinators, to ensure the successful execution and delivery of each project
- Managing client relations, including project contracts, purchase and change orders, schedule of values, and billing, to promote a positive customer experience and develop long-term client relationships
- Maintaining visibility of all project-related term invoicing, ensuring that proper financial accountability is upheld by our clients, and managing and monitoring specific payment terms for all project contracts
- Establishing and maintaining project tracking database to forecast billing, engineering, and production schedule
- Managing and maintaining all project budgets, reviewing and analyzing project costings using data available from CCW’s ERP system
- Maintaining a highly detailed level of project-related documentation daily
- Focusing on servicing the client relationship while monitoring the status of your project’s milestones against the project schedule and coordinating effectively with all stakeholders
- Attending weekly meetings, including production meetings, project start-ups, client status updates, and team meetings
- Visiting job sites to take site measurements, check on a project’s status, and manage the installation process
- Motivating the project management team to a high level of performance and ensuring that our level of customer service and communication is second to none

**Skills Required**:

- Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Construction Management or a related field is an asset but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work and focus on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with an upbeat attitude
- Dynamic and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive relations with peers, clients and internal resources
- Organized, self-disciplined, and capable of evaluating the weekly workload and obtaining cooperation from other departments
- Ability to thrive independently and take initiative
- Experience with Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings/blueprints is an asset
- Millwork experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s license

**Working conditions**:
The Project Manager is an office position, with working hours from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm on Fridays. At times, this position may be required to enter the shop to consult with the Production Manager, as well as participate in occasional site visits and client meetings. This position frequently interacts with CCW clients and it is expected that this employee presents themselves in a professional manner.
