**Hotel General Manager**

**About the hotel**:
This 100+ guestroom 3-star branded Hotel in the London area. Featuring well appointed rooms and hotel amenities including complimentary breakfast, wi-fi, business center, and express check-out. The hotel also boasts a meeting space that can accommodate approximately 50 people.

**Responsibilities**:
The GM will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the hotel including optimizing operations, profitability, sales, marketing, revenue management, guest experience and quality. Also:

- Work collaboratively with the team and other hotel leaders
- Lead the entire team effectively, maintaining excellent employee relations
- Provide meaningful and appropriate forecasts
- Lead business & strategic planning
- Maximize sales and profitability, ensuring cost control
- Be actively involved and lead sales & revenue management
- Be a proactive problem solver
- Ensure that the venue is well maintained and clean
- Present meaningful capital planning
- Be a mentor and help develop the hotel’s leaders and future leaders
- Ensure consistent compliance to service and brand standards
- Work a varied schedule, dynamic to business volumes and hotel needs
- Other duties as appropriate

**Qualifications**:

- Experience as a hotel general manager or as a senior hotel leader
- Experience working within a Branded Hotel Environment
- Appropriate Business Degree or Hospitality Diploma
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with the hotel team to obtain consensus and work collaboratively to drive results
- Demonstrate team building experience and ability to lead by example
- A results-oriented history of success
- Ability to foster a guest service culture that drives superior guest experiences
- Experience in training and developing employees
- Be a hands on leader
- Comfort dealing with continuous change and dynamic hotel needs

**Compensation**:

- Competitive Salary, Bonus Plan & Benefits Plan

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 5 years (required)

**Language**:
