IT Project Coordinator

TYCROP is looking for an **IT Project Coordinator **to join our team in the Fraser Valley.
The Information Technology (IT) Project Coordinator establishes, plans, and manages both the business and technical aspects of IT projects, and liaises across all divisions of the company and with our IT managed service provider. This role will oversee the workflow, documentation, and communication of all ongoing IT projects.
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand business needs and create a management plan that aligns with the strategic objectives.
- Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing
- Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
- Coordinates with vendors and provides internal support for our Line of Business Applications (i.e. Syspro/Solidworks)
- Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, realigns schedules and expectations and communicates as needed
- Manages project teams to ensure they are staffed, on schedule, and on budget.
- Manage all internal and external IT projects, including milestones, realignment, internal and external communication, and resource coordination.
- Updates Internal IT protocols, metrics, and processes. Communicate and implement these Standards to External IT resources.
- Collaborates with resources to develop and refine SOP’s
- Conduct or attends team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- Coordinate implementation of IT tools and services
- Conducts additional tasks as requested/assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading and managing large projects
- 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
- A firm grasp on IT infrastructure and best practices
- Proficient with the previous and current versions of Microsoft Office/365
- Syspro/ Solidworks experience is an asset*
