We are seeking a full time, experienced, self-motivated and detail-oriented bookkeeper to work in our Coquitlam office.

**Job Description: Accounts Payable**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Recording day to day Accounts Payable transactions and completing the posting process
- Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, and general ledger
- Bringing the books to the trial balance stage
- Communicating with Suppliers
- Working closely with the Accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.
- Assist in other accounting and administrative duties

**Requirements and skills**:Proven bookkeeping experience.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records in an ERP work environment.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is an asset

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Accounts payable: 3 years (required)
