Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable Clerk - Woodframe Projects is responsible for performing data entry and related duties in recording the account payable transactions for various construction projects. The position is suitable for someone wanting to advance within a stable organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Positively and professionally represent Reotech Construction and communicate effectively with the owners, customers, trades, and members of our team
- Verify vendor invoices by matching to purchase orders and/or packing slips and ensure proper extensions, taxes and account coding (general ledger and job costing)
- Assist bookkeeper in processing of weekly bill payment runs
- Maintain new vendor set up and vendor files
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow-up on outstanding invoices
- Communicate with vendors and projects team members to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Matching and filing of all payments and payment backup
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant *construction* experience performing similar duties
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with assisting in ERP implementations would be an asset
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills; must be able to work with discretion and be trusted with confidential information
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize and problem solve strategically within strict deadlines
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
