**Accounting Clerk (AR Focused)**

Pacifica Piling LP is an emerging leader in the supply of high grade steel to the energy sector and heavy civil industries. We are looking to add an accounting clerk to our fantastic team to help with accounts payable, account receivable, and inventory accuracy. **Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to the accounting team with a focus on day-to-day tasks
- Process customer invoices and credit memos through inventory
- Process vendor invoices (back-up support)
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances when required
- Month end reconciliations
- Transaction audits
- Cheque runs (back-up support)
- Assist with inventory maintenance in Quickbooks throughout multiple locations in the Lower Mainland
- Sales support; providing product details and documents to Sales Reps as requested.
- Other related duties as assigned

In order to be considered for this position, you must have the following:

- Minimum 3 years experience
- Experience and knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory modules and maintaining general ledgers
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
- Experience and knowledge of Quickbooks. Experience with Eniteo a definite plus
- Experience and proficiency of MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Systematic bookkeeping skills, strong attention to detail
- Good math skills with an understanding of both imperial and metric measurements
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Positive attitude with ability to work as part of a team
- Takes initiative - results oriented and likes to get things done
- Excellent time management and priority setting skills
- Experience in the steel industry would be an asset, however, we are certainly prepared to train the right individual.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $52,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
