**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the CFO, The **Accounting Clerk **is a member of the Aquatech team who will be responsible for full cycle accounting processes.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for full cycle accounting which includes accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP).
- Receives invoices and matches them with purchase orders/work orders and other verification processes to ready the bills for payment.
- Communicate with other departments to handle vendor payments and reconcile issues/concerns.
- When needed, act as a back up to process payroll and expense reports for both union and non-union employees.
- Prepare daily bank deposits.
- Bank reconciliations and other various financial duties.
- Filing and other office administrative/reception duties as required.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- Post Secondary degree in Accounting or related experience.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience in Jonas or inventory management software an asset
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, high attention to detail
- Detail oriented, self -starter, able to handle conflicting priorities
- Must be able to work well under pressure, with the ability to work within stringent timelines
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong computer skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
