Our company is growing and we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player to join our Accounting team as an **Accounts Payable Clerk** at our Maple Ridge Head Office.

This is a long-term, full-time employment opportunity, reporting to the Director of Finance & Accounting.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will...
- Enter and code PO and Non-PO invoices into the ERP system.
- Collect invoices and ensure proper coding, taxes and approvals.
- Assist the purchasing department with invoice reconciliation.
- Coding of monthly corporate bills
- Follow up internally and externally on invoicing issues.
- Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable Discrepancies between PO’s and AP invoices.
- Statement and purchase order reconciliations
- Scheduling and preparing disbursements
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end activities.
- Assist with other bookkeeping functions, as required
- Other duties as required.

**Education and Experience**
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, demanding office environment; familiar with bookkeeping, data entry & office administration
- Formal education in accounting/bookkeeping is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset.

**Work Conditions**
- This is a full-time position
- Overtime as required

**Compensation**: $26.44/h to $30.00/h + 5% RRSP + 100% Company-Paid Health & Dental Benefits + Life Insurance.
