**About Jo’s**
Jo’s Italian Deli is a family-run Italian restaurant and deli. Over time, we’ve picked through our family’s recipe books and grown our offering from a few sandwiches to include a full menu of homemade sandwiches and pasta for lunch and dinner as well as offer a variety of imported Italian grocery items.
Today, in both Chilliwack and Vancouver, our growing team’s goal is to continue to serve these same staple foods to an increasing number of guests and friends in a casual, convenient, and friendly space.
**The Opportunity**
We're a growing business and looking for people to grow with us In addition to serving our guests, team members make our pasta from scratch, slice the meats for our sandwiches to order, and keep our grocery section stocked. Were looking for a Supervisor capable of coordinating these stations as well as working the floor with the team.
**Position Overview**
Our Supervisors help our managers to ensure our team is operating up to our food and service standards. We’re looking to add a team member to start in either the kitchen or on cash, who is eventually interested in learning all aspects of the store from cash, to preparing food, serving customers. As you learn your role, you’ll be able to grow as we do. In time, you'll be expected to:
- Lead the team by example in the daily operations of the deli
- Assist in the training of other team members
- Work with the service and kitchen teams from the floor to ensure successful service
