We are hiring for Restaurant Supervisor, Wildlight Kitchen + Bar at our location in Vancouver, BC near the UBC area.

**You will be responsible for**:
Supervising and directing the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverage within the restaurant.

Communicating effectively, giving direction, support, and assisting in the training and development of team members.

Creating a welcome and positive work atmosphere for employees through encouragement, support and willingness to help and recognition of performance.

Opening and closing of restaurant as scheduled and ensuring all opening, closing and running side work is completed on a daily basis.

Greeting, welcoming, seating and interacting with guests, supporting special occasions and ensuring the best guest experience at all times.

Acting as a liaison between kitchen and front of house employees and operations.

Working quickly and independently to resolve operational and/or guest issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through with appropriate manager(s).

Monitoring and reviewing labour reports and ensuring all employee cashouts are balanced and accurate.

Assisting servers, runners, bartenders, and host staff in their job duties as necessary

**You have**:
Minimum 2 years of previous supervisory experience in a high-volume, three meal a day restaurant environment.

Experience in administrative tasks such as creating work schedules, placing orders and controlling inventory

Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts, percentages, proportions, and volumes in order to track inventory, controls and analyze financial statements.

Food Safe Certification.

Serving it Right Certification.
