Events & Restaurant Supervisor

**Overview**
We are looking to add a contract **Events & Restaurant Supervisor** to our team for the period of **April - October** (working 5 days per week). We offer a dynamic work environment, competitive remuneration of **$30,000 - $35,000** **including eligibility for a $2,500 bonus** during the contract period, and the opportunity to work with a passionate hospitality team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining and event experiences.
**Responsibilities**
**Event Administration & Coordination**
- Develop and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring all event details are clearly documented and communicated to relevant departments.
- Work with the Events Manager to plan and oversee event logistics, including room setup, staffing and service execution.
- Ensure all events run smoothly, proactively addressing any issues that arise during execution.
**Restaurant Operations Management**
- Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency, and member satisfaction.
- Supervise front-of-house staff, providing guidance and support to maintain excellent guest experiences.
- Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams to optimize service flow.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws.
**Collaboration & Communication**
- Work closely with the Events Manager, Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and other department heads to align restaurant and event operations.
- Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss operational strategies, challenges, and improvements.
**Requirements**:
- At least 1 year of previous experience in restaurant supervision and event administration is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple events and dining operations simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and client relations skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail programs.
- Familiarity with local health, safety, and liquor regulations.
