**Job Title**:
Business Development Executive

**Compensation**:
Base Salary: $90,000.00

Commission: 5% of Personally Generated Sales

Capped at $140,000.00 annually

$230,000.00 Salary and Potential Commissions

**Main Purpose of the Job**:
As a Business Development Executive at ATH Stainless Steel, you will actively pursue and develop new business in the North American Custom Metal Fabrication and Architectural Metal Fabrication market.

You understand the sales process, excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. You are passionate about what you sell - and about supporting your customers’ projects. This position reports to the President.

You will ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenue through positive planning, development and managing the estimating department. Part of your position will also be identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Collaborates with the owner in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
- Creates and implements tactical and strategic sales plans to acquire new clients.
- Leverages contacts in the industry to reach out to new prospects and initiate conversations to assess their needs and recommend ATH Stainless Steel solutions.
- Exhibits a personal leadership style that energizes the work group and drives successful execution against tight deadlines.
- Manage an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
- Liaison with general contractors, architects and suppliers.
- Holds regular meeting with all department managers.
- Assist in estimating department to make sure jobs meets tender closing dates
- Submittal of tenders
- Assists with accounting department to ensure all jobs are invoiced accordingly and in timely function
- Assist with accounting receivable to ensure payments received in a timely manner
- Assist and work closely with purchasing department
- Attend start up meetings with general contractors.
- Develop and maintain good working relationship with and among managers, supervisors, peers and operators.
- Communicate clearly with other lead hands, supervisors, employees, management and function as a team player, both verbally and written.
- Develop good relationship with existing customers.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 10 years of consultative sales/business development experience in custom manufacturing companies specifically in the Metal Fabrication Industry.
- Experience in closing and negotiating project/deal size average of over $250k
- University degree, or an acceptable combination of education and related experience
- Self-starter with superior adaptation skills
- Consultative selling approach to reach out to new prospects and customers and initiate conversations to assess their needs and recommend ATH solutions
- Track sales KPIs to achieve objectives and performance,
- Prioritizes and plans works activities, using time efficiently and likes using the CRM as a tool
- Base salary and high end capped commission structure
- Experience with target audience of architectural and custom metal fabrication industry including engineers, designers, and executives.
- Capacity to solve problems and superior listening skills, asking the right questions
- Punctual, Dependable and Organized
- Good attitude and work Ethics
- Fluent oral and written English

**Metal Fabrication Industry - Custom and Architectural Experience in this industry is a must and a willingness to join a small-medium company in its high-growth phase.**
